Tickled Blue.

This season we are swimming in a deep sea of blue. The cobalt’s and electric tones are especially my favorite with the bright intensity complimenting the summery days. This colour has been rippling through many designers collections (such as Diane Von Furstenburg and Christian Louboutin), as well as the high street (Topshop, H&M) taking on this bold yet beautiful into their own designs. For those fashion daredevils, embrace this colour by teaming with further block neons or brights, or with busy patterns. Wearing with a subtle black or dark blocked colour as an accessory or additional garment can tone down the look.

Cannes Film Festival 2011: My Favourite Fashion Pieces So Far….

The most fabulous film festival in the world is now in motion, which means only one thing…. fascinating fashion. Here are my favourite looks so far!!

Alexa Chung looked absolutely stunning wearing a vintage Balenciaga dress from the sixties. The enchanting pearl white shade perfectly complimented her place skin tone.

Rachel McAdams’ has also impressed the fashion world with a variety of magnificent styles. First is her Marchesa nude gown, featuring vivid red embellishment. This daring, yet glamorous dress looked absolutely sensational on her. On the Wednesday, McAdams wore a Maxime Simoens S/S 11 dress; also adopting a white colour palette with cream floral ruffles detailing on the shoulders and hips.

Salma Hayek’s Gucci champagne evening gown for the Opening ceremony was another favourite for me….an utterly classic look for a classic occasion.

Late Birthday Present Anyone?!.....

Just doing a bit of cruising on fashion blogs when I came upon Fashion Journalist Louise Roe's website www.louiseroe.com. There i found a link to Spirithoods, a company which produce 'wild fashion accessories' which I find sincerely unique and beautiful. The accessories consist of furry hats which resemble a wide variety of creatures with attaching gloves below, a definitive must have for any daring lady and nature lover! I think I have died and gone to shoe heaven.....

Being a student it's not very often when I get a chance to splurge on a gorgeous set of new dancing shoes. However, thanks to a little peek at the Manchester Fashion Networks newsfeed, I couldn't help but immediately be attracted to this website: www.shoeaholics.com. This amazing site offers designer shoes at a discounted rate!! From Kurt Geiger, to Carvela, this site is absolutely brilliant for those shoe addicts who just want pure style for something a bit less! I've got my eye on a cute pair of KG by Kurt Geiger kitten heels, going for £45 instead of the original price of £150! ... I definitely recommend you all do a bit of 'sole searching' yourselves!! xx

These are my new favourite buys. I had been searching for these trousers for ages! They are from River Island and were designed by a student involved in Graduate Fashion Week. I love the animal/ tribal vibe these trousers have, and the zips just give that extra detail! Perfect for summer! The shoes were from New Look, as i had a pair that snapped, i urgently needed any cheap pair of sandles i could find! Luckily these were avaliable for a bargain price of £12.99! Not bad! Im lovi

Im a massive fan of Kate Moss' range for Topshop, and was excited to here that today she has added more designs to the new range! I've noticed this year that Kate Moss has sported florals, pastels and flowing materials which not only do i love, but is great to wear for this summer! Here's a few of my personal faves just added to the line! If only i could afford it! ....
