Prints.

These are my new favourite buys. I had been searching for these trousers for ages! They are from River Island and were designed by a student involved in Graduate Fashion Week. I love the animal/ tribal vibe these trousers have, and the zips just give that extra detail! Perfect for summer! The shoes were from New Look, as i had a pair that snapped, i urgently needed any cheap pair of sandles i could find! Luckily these were avaliable for a bargain price of £12.99! Not bad! Im lovi
ng the detailed jewels and the black sole and heel means they will go with so many outfits!

Im a massive fan of Kate Moss' range for Topshop, and was excited to here that today she has added more designs to the new range! I've noticed this year that Kate Moss has sported florals, pastels and flowing materials which not only do i love, but is great to wear for this summer! Here's a few of my personal faves just added to the line! If only i could afford it! ....

Graduate Fashion Week 2010

Next week is Graduate Fashion Week, which will be the 19th year this event has taken place, which this year will be held in Earls Court, London. For those of you who don't know, GFW is a week of exhibitions, showcasing designs and work from fashion graduates all over the country (this year will show over 1000 graduate's designs). It is the best place to be if you want an insight into the future of British fashion. They will be competing for various prizes, the main one being the River Island (this years sponsor of GFW) placement, as well as £20,000 prize money. Current high profile designers who's careers have helped to be launched from this event include the past participants: Julien McDonald, Christopher Bailey and Stella McCartney.

Catwalk shows will also be held across the country, in the university locations who entered participants. Manchester is included in this on the 8th June, so fingers crossed i shall be able to get a ticket!

Sex And The City 2

On Saturday night, i saw the much awaited new SATC movie, and it was definitely worth the wait! Although it was much longer than expected, it did not disappoint! Like any other SATC fan, i was very excited to see the costumes which the characters wore, some which i envied over, others - well not quite so much (Carrie's hat when boarding the plane to Abu Dhabi, definitely comes to mind! Although i'm a fan of statement garments, i believe it was a bit too OTT!) One thing which always sticks in my mind was the beautiful printed hareem jumpsuit Carrie wore, i'm now on the hunt for one! Rumour has it that the cost of the wardrobe for the entire film was an estimated $10 million, which is not surprising as each character seemed to have a costume change every 2 minutes! (It really was like watching my own fairytale!) I am also a huge Aidan fan, and in this film he looked better than ever! Shame he wasn't in it for as long as i expected, but i won't give anything away just yet incase some of you haven't seen it yet!

By the way, how AMAZING is Kim Cattrall?! I admire her so much! I would not mind looking that hot when i'm in my mid 50s!

Oh and watching this film has made me want a pair of Christian Louboutin's so bad, anyone who wants to buy me a pair, feel free:)

New Start

It has taken a long time for me to encourage myself to do one of these...and finally i have! I never used to be any good at writing things down from mind to paper (or screen so to speak), but i've decided that it's time for a change, and to anyone who is interested can get an insight into my life, as well as my thoughts and opinions anything which fascinates me. As most of you who will read this will know, that i love fashion, and wish to pursue a career in this industry in the future. So many of these blogs will include much to do with it. Anyways, enough of the intro. Feel free to leave any of your thoughts to this, and hope you enjoy!
